Katie Abercrombie (Weekly Dog Walker)

My name is Katie and I am a Certified Professional Pet Care Specialist with Fur Baby Comfort & Care, a professional pet sitting business that prides itself on providing peace of mind to Fur Baby owners.  I have been a part of the Fur Baby family since early 2023, but before even that I had over ten years of experience caring for my own beloved pets, plus the pets of friends, family, and neighbors. My own fur baby family consists of my two loving cats and eight playful ferrets. They constantly keep me on my toes with their shenanigans and there’s never a dull moment! Many of my fur babies are seniors now and we manage many illnesses, including adrenal cancer, insulinoma, and seizures. Because of this, you can trust I am well versed in caring not only for your young and playful pets, but also your sick and elderly pets who just need a little extra love. In my free time, I love to read, spend lots of time with my fur babies, and go hiking with my wonderful husband! I am also a huge lover of true crime podcasts and documentaries! Considering that, you’d think I would have gotten my degree in Criminal Science! But rather, I attained my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management back in 2021. As your Pet Care Specialist, you can be assured you’ll never wonder how your fur babies are doing! I have so much fun sending lengthy, detailed updates about not only the wellbeing of your pet, but also all of the fun adventures they’ve been having! On top of the fun though, I always prioritize safety and care over anything else. Having personally experienced many emergencies and many extreme medical diagnoses, I am quick to react and resolve any situations that may arise. I truly look forward to the opportunity to care for your fur baby and make a new best friend!
