My name is Shaina and I am a Certified Professional Pet Care Specialist with Fur Baby Comfort & Care, a professional pet sitting business that prides itself on providing peace of mind to fur baby owners. With two and a half years of experience in this role and seven years of volunteering at animal shelters, I have developed a deep passion for caring for animals. My own rescue cat, Flash, who recently passed away was a cherished companion in my life for the past 16 years. We shared many adventures together, from training him to walk with a harness and leash to camping trips across the country. I also navigated many health issues with him, gaining experience in administering pills, injections and other medicines on strict schedules. While you are away, I will treat your fur babies like they’re my own and bring both a fun and adventurous spirit to their care, along with a sharp attention to detail. I will provide you with regular, detailed updates and strive to match their daily routine just as you would at home. And during all of our activities together, I will take extra precautions to ensure your pets are safe and secure. By being fully present in the moment, I will aim to get to know each pet as an individual to meet their specific needs. I have a calm and steady presence that animals can rely on, even those who may be slow to warm up. My quiet and patient approach helps reduce stress and allows me to build relationships based on trust. I am also an experienced gardener and fish keeper, so I understand the importance of caring for all members of your family.
